Primary Health Care Centre in Stourbridge, UK
Liverpool PSDA are very happy to announce that Planning Approval & Listed Building consents were granted 01.02.10 for the proposed Primary Health Care Centre at the former Foster & Rastrick Foundry in Stourbridge, UK. Liverpool PSDA will now further develop the design proposals in conjunction with the developer The Revelan Group and end users with a view to going out to tender for the construction works in around six weeks.
Heritage Award by Ludlow Conservation Area Advisory Committee
Liverpool PSDA have been presented with a Heritage Award by Ludlow Conservation Area Advisory Committee for works to a grade II listed building in Castle Square in Ludlow. The extensive works were to provide retail accommodation on the ground floor with 6 apartments for sale on floors above. The committee judged the works to be exemplary in preserving and enhancing the character of the Ludlow Conservation Area by the use of modern & ancient building materials and repair technology coupled with high quality craftsmanship.
BCO award entry Lifford House, Fordhouse Lane, Liverpool
The recently completed £4 million Lifford House building designed by Liverpool PSD Architects is being entered for this years BCO Office Awards. This follows the successful transformation of the former industrial site by the Revelan Group which was achieved within a 12 month construction programme, providing 40000sqft refurbished offices for Liverpool City Council.
Lion Medical Centre, Lowndes Road, Stourbridge
A planning application is due to be determined this month for the proposed Primary Health Care Centre designed by Liverpool PSD Architects at the former Foster & Rastrick Foundry. The historic grade 2* Listed building is notable for manufacturing the Stourbridge Lion in 1829, the first locomotive to be operated in the United States. Liverpool PSDA have developed proposals following liaison with The Revelan Group, Worcester Street Surgery, the local authority and English Heritage. The proposals include sympathetic refurbishment and contemporary additions to create a £5million state of the art health centre.
